1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Foundation app ("the App"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Foundation is a habit tracking application that allows users to set daily goals, track progress, and build consistent routines. The App is available for iOS devices and offers both free and premium subscription features.

3. User Account & Data

Foundation does not require account creation. All data is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and your data. We are not responsible for any data loss resulting from device damage, loss, or reset.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Foundation Pro is an optional auto-renewable subscription that unlocks additional features including unlimited pillars, timer functionality, journal and notes, and Apple Health integration.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • The subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
  • You can manage and cancel your subscription in your iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
  • Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when purchasing a subscription.

Current subscription plans:

  • Monthly: €1.99/month
  • Yearly: €9.99/year

Prices may vary by region and are subject to change. The applicable price is displayed in the App before purchase.

5. Apple Health

The App may access Apple Health data (steps, workouts, mindfulness) with your explicit permission. This data is used exclusively to automate habit tracking within the App and is never shared with third parties. You can revoke access at any time.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, logos, and code within the Foundation app are the intellectual property of Manuel Bucher and are protected by copyright law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Foundation is not a medical, health, or fitness advice tool. Always consult a qualified professional for health-related decisions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including data loss or inability to access features.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Germany.
